Whangarei Residence Kitchen Design

This stunning whangarei kitchen design was part of an Arcline project on the outskirts of Whangarei. During the design process Arcline worked with Aleysha Pangari and Kitchens by Wood Design to create an amazing residence, finished with style and quality.

The Kitchen

It truly has everything you can think of plus more. With a five bar-stool island with extensions either end occupying the centre of the kitchen, it’s certainly a design on a whole new scale.

Included in the island is a large double sink, two dish drawers and ample drawer and cupboard space. The top is a huge piece of stone which was professionally joined to maintain the grain patterns whilst hiding the join.

The bevelled drip lines for the sink have been machined into the stone itself, an artwork alone. Small feature shelves add a sense of quality with ornaments placed throughout the kitchen. The rangehood and background have been finished with the clients chosen plaster of choice.

This kitchen really takes kitchen designs to a new level. The size, detail and choice of materials is stunning, let alone the use of textures and colors.

The Scullery
Hidden around both ends of the main kitchen are doorways leading to the large scullery. This includes back to back units with the main kitchen and full length cabinetry and benches on the exterior wall.

Set in darker tones to the main kitchen this becomes like a ‘working den’. This is where the secret spices and recipes are thrown together behind these walls, with the mess kept from the showcase item – the main kitchen.

Although a different color scheme to the main kitchen the design ties in nicely, the use of materials and colors connecting the two spaces in perfection.
